This role is to drive institutional partnerships at policy level. To strengthen our internal editorial cooperation and coordinate our outreach efforts in China. To be a focal point for the collecting and disseminating intelligence gathered about the research landscape in China, particularly with respect to issues around funding, policy and politics. The Production Editor's role is to manage a portfolio of journals and additionally to manage a varied range of intra departmental projects. Production Editors work closely with offshore vendors for quality management to ensure that publications meet standards and are delivered on time, acting as an escalation point for the vendors, and resolving performance problems in conjunction with their line manager.
